Google + AI Image Editing (+ More Updates)

Google + AI Image Editing (+ More Updates)

Google has recently expanded its AI-powered ad image editing capabilities beyond Performance Max campaigns, now available across Search, Display, App, and Demand Gen campaigns. This development, announced at the DMEXCO marketing conference, allows advertisers to leverage machine learning to automate and optimize visual assets at scale. The AI tools can automatically enhance images by resizing them, removing backgrounds, applying branding elements, and even generating entirely new visuals based on textual prompts.

Google's Automated Image Editing

The key feature here is Google’s "Automated Image Editing," which uses machine learning models trained on advertising best practices to streamline ad creatives. Advertisers still maintain control over these edits through a “human in the loop” workflow, where multiple versions of creative assets can be previewed side-by-side before being finalized.

Google AI + New Languages

Additionally, Google is expanding this AI-powered capability to six new languages, including German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese, making these tools more accessible to a global audience. This is part of Google’s broader push to balance automation with more granular advertiser controls, providing flexibility while ensuring brand consistency across campaigns.

This AI-driven image editing technology not only saves marketers time but also boosts the overall creative output, helping brands achieve better performance across multiple channels
