  • Links to any assets you need (trust me, you don't want to be hunting these down at the last minute)
  • Tracking links (if you're into that data life)

And here's the beautiful part—your content calendar doesn't have to be some fancy tool (unless you want it to be). You can keep it simple with a good old Google Sheet or get a little more robust with something like Asana or Later. 

The key is to find a system that works for YOU and stick to it. Consistency is the name of the game here.

Tip #2: Know When to Say No (to Certain Channels)

Real talk: not every social media platform deserves your time and energy. Maintaining a presence on every channel is a recipe for burnout and mediocre content. 

Instead, you have to be strategic about where you show up. Focus your efforts on the platforms that are actually going to move the needle for your brand or business.

There are some tasks in your day-to-day that are just begging to be automated. And the more you can delegate to the robots, the more time you have to focus on the high-level, creative work that requires your brain cells.

So, what can you automate? For starters, anything that's repetitive and doesn't need your personal touch. Think:

  • Setting up auto-replies to common DMs or comments
  • Using IFTTT or Zapier to connect your apps and streamline your workflow
  • Generating captions with AI tools
